Money Back Guarantee

At Raging Swan Press we are proud of our reputation for offering high quality GMM Resources at affordable prices.

We’re proud of our achievement but at the same time recognise that justifying spending your hard-earned cash on yet more gaming products can sometimes be hard, particularly when you are buying something from a company you’ve never used before.

That’s why we offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all our PDF products.

So, there’s no risk to you. Take a look at what Raging Swan has to offer and if you don’t think the product is worth what you paid for it, email me within one month of purchase including your receipt or invoice and tell me why you didn’t like it. I’ll give you a full refund via PayPal or exchange it for a supplement of your choice up to the same value. It’s that simple.

Why are you doing this?

We believe Raging Swan puts out good products at an affordable price; a money back guarantee is a powerful statement on how we view Raging Swan’s products.

At the same time, I understand spending your hard-earned cash on a product you can’t try before you buy can be daunting. Our money back guarantee makes trying our products risk free.

Where does the refund come from?

It doesn’t matter where you purchased the product you want to return. Raging Swan Press issues your refund directly via PayPal.

If I want to claim my money back what should I do?

Email Creighton within 30 days of the date of purchase. Include:

  • The invoice for the PDF you wish to return.
  • Your PayPal registered email address.
  • A brief note telling us what you didn’t like about the product so we can make future releases even better. (You don’t have to do this last bit if you don’t want to, but it would help us if you did).

You’ll receive your refund within 48 hours.

Can I claim another PDF instead of getting my money back?

Yes. If you don’t have a PayPal account or don’t want the actual money back you can claim another PDF up to the value of the original PDF.

Are you worried about people abusing this offer?

No. Gamers are generally  decent people and I think the community is a great place to work and play.

  1. Greetings Creighton, I really enjoy the Marshes and Swamps backdrop and am grateful for all the creative effort invested into it. I have one additional suggestion for you and your team that I believe will greatly enhance these “backdrop” products across the entire series: please consider republishing the “backdrop” series with more internal cross references. For example: See MINOR EVENTS #98 on page 11 of the printed PDF and the cross reference the corresponding rules on page 9. Although this is very helpful, it is inconsistent. So, my suggestion would be to extend this cross referencing concept to random encounters, to folk of interest, to sights & sounds, and especially to hooks, complications & opportunities! I believe the result of cross referencing will make material easier to find and allow it to be used more spontaneously during gaming sessions.

    • Thanks for the suggestion, Brian. I’m always keen to make the books even more usable. I am plotting some reprints of various books next year and I’ll be sure to include as much cross-referencing as possible (and tidying up as many errors as possible!)

  2. Greetings! I just purchased Village Backdrop – Tigley from DriveThruRPG. I was thinking that the version buying option (i.e., System Neutral, 5e, or Pathfinder) would be offered at some point during checkout or upon download, but that option was never offered and what I ended up getting was the Pathfinder version. Now, I CAN work with the Pathfinder version, but HAD intended to utilize it for GURPS. My question is…are the differences present in the System Neutral version enough to request THAT version over the Pathfinder or 5e versions? MY order of preference (as to what I intend the product to be used) are System Neutral, 5e, and Pathfinder. Other than the confusion in getting the desired version, the product is GREAT…exactly what I was wanting!

    • Hi William!

Thanks for the purchase. The differences between the versions are not huge, but you should have the version you want! I’ve just sent you the SNE version of the village via RPGNow and you should have the download link now. If you don’t, just let me know.

(And–finally–thanks for the jolly kind words. I hope your players enjoy Tigley).

      • Thanks for your quick reply, Creighton! Yes, I received the download link. Thank you VERY much.
        Sincerely, William K. Taylor

  3. I am trying to reach you about a purchase I made of one of your village backdrops, Village Map: Riverside Village. The files are incorrect and the tagged file contained in the package is for Village Map: Bridge Village. I would like to take advantage of the exchange policy. The map preview on Drivethrurpg was so tiny you could not make out detail and, in addition to their being the wrong tagged file included, this map will not work for my product. I thought the town’s keep was intact and could not tell the walls were tumbled down from the low res preview.

I need a village along a river or waterway. I see you have several, perhaps I can exchange for one of those.

I left a comment on as well, but thought I would check here as the most recent comments there were from 2014.

    • I’ve updated the files for the product. I’m sorry for the confusion. I’d be happy to exchange the product for another of your choice. I need your RPGNow-registered email address to do so, however. There is a contact widget in the sidebar of this site. Just scroll up a bit to see it. Send me an email with what you’d like and your email addy and I’ll get right on it.

      Sorry again for the inconvenience.
