If you’ve got any questions or suggestions shoot us an email; we would love to hear from you.
Ah, 2012 I’ve been expecting you!
Welcome back after the holiday break. I hope you had a good holiday. Here at Raging Swan we had a jolly relaxing time stuffing ourselves with mince pies and other assorted festive nibbles. We also discovered that we are awesome at Quirkle!
On the gaming front, December was rather spiffing for Raging Swan Press - we released some cracking products, got some really amazing reviews and even got a bit of work done. Hopefully, January will be even better.
This month we are releasing several products:
In Aasimar: Heirs of Glory, Landon Bellavia provides scads of cool options for aasimar players and presents a half-dozen sample aasimar characters. Later in the month, Pierre van Rooden presents Cultists of Havra Zhoul - a handy, not evil at all semi-secret cult ready to drop into almost any campaign.
We are also releasing two short GM’s Resources - So What’s The NPC Like, Anyway? And So What’s The Pirate Ship Like, Anyway?
Finally, Raging Swan are looking for freelancers to design entries in the “So What” line. If you are interested, take a look at the existing products and drop Creighton a line with a short sample of your work.
Festive salutations from Raging Swan Press!
November was so super awesome! We had a record month in terms of sales and so I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has taken a chance on us and purchased one or more of our supplements! Paizo posted a dedicated article about Raging Swan on their store blog and as a result it seems that lots of people have noticed us for the first time. Creighton is content!
This month, Raging Swan is releasing Bugbears of the Frozen Tears, Cultists of Havra Zhoul and So What’s It Called, Anyway? All are aimed squarely at the busy GM. So if you need a maniacal tribe of headhunting bugbears that live among the high cliffs surrounding a frozen waterfall, a cult intent on imposing law on a frontier town or simply help naming stuff in your campaign, we’ve got you covered.
As 2011 draws to a close, naturally our thoughts turn to 2012. Early in the new year, we’ll unveil our release schedule for the first portion of the year. Is there anything you think Raging Swan should cover? Should we put our more adventures? What creatures should the TRIBES line cover next year? Is there a designer we should really work with? Let us know!
On the subject of next year, if you are a design freelancer looking for work, drop me a line. I’ve several projects I’d love to release, but not enough time to actually write them. I don’t care if you’ve been published before or not, but I would ask that you know the Pathfinder system, are enthusiastic about design and can hit deadlines.
Welcome to November at Raging Swan!
This month is jolly exciting because I’m hitting a milestone; with the release of Villains III, Raging Swan Press will have published its 50th Pathfinder Roleplaying Game compatible product. That’s pretty cool when you consider Raging Swan has only been around since April last year! I’m currently mulling over how to celebrate this occasion (which truth be told took me somewhat by surprise!)
In other news, Caves & Caverns has started to generate some reviews and our first is a cracker! I’m delighted not only because it earned five stars, but also because the reviewer really seemed to “get” the premise behind the supplement - to create a library of easy-to-run, but complex, evocative encounters a GM can drop into almost any underground adventure. Of course, this makes me want to go design a follow-up, perhaps focusing on high EL encounters. I’ve never added class levels to a shoggoth, and this might be the right time to put that right!
;-)
In other news, this month we are releasing a new line of products - TREASURE MAPS focused on providing cool, evocative handouts for GMs and publishers alike. Cartographer Billiam Babble has done a cracking job so head over to the webpage and take a look at what’s he’s created!
Welcome to October at Raging Swan Press!
This month we are jolly busy. Not only have we already released Wondrous Treasures, but we are also starting a new product line. The first supplement is Random Woodland Encounters and yes, you guessed it, each entry presents a fully detailed, ready-to-go encounter. We are also (finally!) releasing Caves & Caverns (which has been a real labour of love) and Kai’s Scoundrels by Ben Kent.
We’ve also got hold of some new web design software and will be giving the site a refresh through October. I’ve found that as Raging Swan has grown and developed, keeping the website updated hasn’t happened as much as I’d like. My goal is to make the site easier to use and navigate. Check back often to see what we are up to. We’d love to receive feedback on the pages we’ve tidied and re-organised. Pages we’ve redesigned to date include:
